I am a new earth main user and I want to know that my resistance says 586 but i only get a shield of 284 when I use the mystery skill.Why?

It's not full resistance. It's probably more like 30 percent. Don't know the exact number.

My earth main has about 3k and with steel armor he shields for about 1200.

Only until you have steel armour, you will get better shields, but no one can create shields based on their full resistance attribute, only a percentage of it. And in the future, earth shield will get nerfeddddd and that's why you won't see many earths in taiwanese or chinese version.
