I am way beyond the power level of my opponent. Have high INI, but they ALWAYS go first, and take off way more damage. What gives?

Opponent probably has a better set up, or you need to adjust your gears.

Initiative and field wide interrupts my dude. That's all that matters in ranked battle. Fights are usually one sided.
