on your first role you your mood will give you +5% on one stat and -5% on another

when you level this up, the + effect increases by 4% and the - effect stays the same

EX:

Ninjutsu+5%......Next Level you will have....+9%
Taijutsu -5% .....Next Level you will have....-5%

As far as priority, dont spend coupons on meat* especially now. just get them from events and daily login.

Mood scrolls are worth it though. buy these and upgrade them up to level 5. Do not go to 6 (Level 1-5 cost 30 coupons each for 150 total, 6 needs costs 150 coupons total)

I'd get at least your main to Mood Level 6 or higher. You should only upgrade the moods of other ninjas that you know you will keep using into the future, as it can be quite expensive to get all moods upgraded. You should probably save most of your coupons for Battle Armour, since that boosts all ninjas stats. Overall, it's up to you, but I wouldn't advise anyone who isn't paying a lot for the game to boost moods a lot instead of going for refines and BA.
