I was able to finally get past Hidan, but now I am stuck on defeating both Kakuzu and Hidan on the Story Mission called Fight Starts!. I need some advice on some strategies, maybe certain ninja I should use. I have pretty much tried everything to power up, get more health, and get more attack power. I am currently level 70 with a total power of 11,345. I just need help, it's all I ask for.
Thank you to everyone who gives me some advice, or good strategies!
Hmm.
Just wanna give a piece of advice. For Plot Instances, not all the time Ninjas and Strategies aren't the basis for you to complete it but you also have to build up a good power to deal with damage and also to withstand any attacks from your enemies. At your level, I know some of the Power Features are already opened to you such as Ninja Assist, Assist li
Story fights with few exceptions mostly come down to just having down the basics of team building and far more importantly - powering up -
In order to give strategy in terms of lineups and nina picks, we need to know what ninja you actually have, which can vary greatly from person to person. That said, it's mostly irrelevant because the problem is the same. Your BP is simply too low to make much progress regardless of strategy, and it's honestly just that simple.
Rather than beat your head into the wall, you should be pushing for close to 15k, power to proceed for now, and literally focusing ALL or your resources and attention on that. You have said you have done everything you can think of to increase power, but it's obvious something is missing, so go down the list below step by step, and see what you haven't done.
If you want advice on ninja picks, give us screenshots of your ninja list, but otherwise, try to come up with a a team of good ninja you own whose combos lead to one another, so you can focus on those ninja for now. You can test your ninja and teams together at the kakashi clones in konoha until you find something you like. (you're honestly fine to just pick 4 ninja at this point, it doesn't even really matter all that much which ones they are at this power/level, favorites, highest stars, etc.)
Sorry if any of this seems super basic, but we need to make sure you're not missing anything before we proceed. Buliding BP takes time
Open up Ninja > Train and do the following, for your main and the 3 ninja you pick:
- Fully awaken ninja to the max they can be at your level. If you don't have the material needed, use your stamina to sweep instances that drop them every day, until you do. Sweeping on weekends give double rewards so use stamina potions if you have them saved, and sweep extra those days.
- Fully cultivate the same ninja. Do survival trial every day until you have the cultivation runes you need.
- Roll for your preferred mood until you get one you're happy with and use any mood scrolls you have to strengthen their mood. You can easily reroll mood later if need
Ninja for whom you haven't done the above won't live up to their potential,so start here first
Open up Power Up and do all of the following:
- Upgrade your equipment as much as possible. Same as awakening, sweep for materials you lack, until you can't anymore, without furthering the story. If you're missing the scrolls, you get those from progressing in ninja exam and sweeping every day. This also gets you magatamas so...
- Beset the all the best magatama you have for each position and use extras to upgrade what you have beset. These can really add up over time the further you go in ninja exam
- Balance investment of extra coins (after you've made your group contribution, if you haven't, see below) towards both strengthen equipment, and 8 inner gates. 8 inner gates works similar to magatamas, but you use coins to gather more instead, and you get to choose which of the chakra you use. solid choices include... life, attack, ninjutsu, defense, resistance, critical, injury, and initiative
Power up > Runes, Charms, and Refines
These power ups function much the same as above, and are VERY important for your overall BP and should not be ignored. However they all have limited time rebate events associated with them, where you get the most * for you buck if you save upgrading them until each particular rebate is in effect. You can choose to save them up for those rebates or spend them as you please, thats up to you and your patience level, as well as the results you desire. your mileage my vary.
Join a Group if you haven't already
even if you're not that social, or prefer to play alone, join one anyway. There are too many benefits to ignore, including huge power gains, and tons of free coupons and coins. Once you have...
- Donate the maximum amount of coins you are allowed per day, to get group contributions and use those to purchase group skills as often as you can.
- Do 3 convoy missions a day, during the allowed time frame.
- Utilize group members to do all the team instances and strong approaching you are allowed to each week. These are the biggest source of your moon scrolls, which are a big deal. Ask for help, or just wait until others want to do them and join in
Spending Moon Scrolls
If you are doing the above group content, you should be gathering tens of thousands of moon scrolls a week, and you can make some serious progress with that, especially at the beginning. So lets go shopping
The order in which you buy materials and where you choose to focus is largely up for debate, so look at the options, and make your choice ba
Cave Keys - if you're saving for the rebate event, you'll need 1050 for the big prize. Otherwise, just use em in the cave for rune stones, and beset like magatama
Refine Runes - same as above. Save hundreds for the events, or just upgrade now, its up to you
Mount Myoboku's Gift - buy until you unlock the 2nd map, by finishing level 8
Common and Medium Cloth - until your battle armor requires advanced cloth. DO NOT BUY ADVANCED CLOTH, Strong approach gives you more than you'll ever need
Purification and Purification Protection - its basically stat gambling, but in the long run its big power.
Bells
Summons
not much to worry about here, but if you haven't unlocked all the blue and purple summons, hover over them and click the [ i ] *on to travel to them, and do your 10 allowed captures per day, to build up the fragments until they are unlocked. Once you've unlocked em, equip 3 of em, at the top left of the same contract section to increase your BP. Equipped summons add power, and aren't related to what you use in battle. While you're here, go ahead and head over to the rune submenu at the the top, and beset any you have, just like magatama.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thats the big stuff to start off with. If it seems complicated right now, trust me it won't for very long, There are plenty of other power up features, but they are all either mostly unavailable outside of events, or more nuanced, and thus would need more in depth explanation. I do encourage you to seek out guides on those under the strategy forums, when you have the time though. Look up info on treasured tools, home bonding, 5 nature chakra, ninja assist, assist li
If you do all of the above, you should see huge increases in power very quickly, and story battles won't be a problem for you anymore. Keep plugging away at it, these things take time, but its worth it. Cheers.
