His two shields from standard attack are given to the Ninja with the lowest life.. You could lower the life of your earth main, by taking out his life magatama's and putting it on someone else, but... you'd only receive the shield for such a small time before he'd have to go shield some other teammate.

IMO lowering earth main hp is not a good idea..
just wait for next turn to use skill (super stone fist jutstu, if im not wrong) that allow u to shield urself for based on ur own resistance.. :lol

Instead, just raise your def of your Earth MC so he doesn't die to auto attacks or just use the 'Bottom Force' talent that increases your def and gives you super armor for the 1st round.

Just like the poster above me mentioned, use your Super Stone Fist Justu so it gives you 2k+ shields (depending on your overall resistance) after the dmg has been done, and once your MC has taken a bit of dmg from auto attacks, it should have the two of the lowest HP remaining on your team which will result him shielding itself the next round.
I'm assuming you're putting him in the 1st position in either the 1st or 2nd roll.
