Why don't you test it out via a ranked battle? I'm curious about this as well, but I don't have a Konan myself. :P

She shields up to 6 members in total, including other ranked battle teams and friends that have any akatsuki members.

Is it random who she shields? Because in ranked there are sometimes more than 6 Akatsuki members on the field?

Probably resistance. Most of the shields based on resistance. Some based on Ninjutsu, like Gakido, but I dont know is there is anyone else.

It depends on where her shield is based off on. If its really resistence, you should mood that for better shields.

I am using Ninjutsu mood because that is her main focus of damage although if you want stronger shields that would depend on resistance but I still see Ninjutsu mood as a must for her.

The return on resist is not great - This applies to literally every shielding ninja. Look at the math. Mooding will get you likely 25% increase in Resist but that's also cut in half due to the shield only using 50%. Not great.

It also only applies once whereas Life or Ninjutsu will work on every single turn. Seriously just look at the Life and Ninjutsu growths for her as well as what each skill uses. It's a no brainer.

Her ninjutsu growth is very high but the thing is only her special is ninjutsu... basic atk chase and passive are Tai by this logic i should increase atk?

If you fight alonside other players with Konan, and you have a Konan yourself. Do the buffs stack? or can one Akatsuki member only be limited to one Konan buff?

Konan's buffs do stack, so if all 3 teammates use Konan, the buffed members will get 3x the normal shields and buffs.

Just tested Konan's shields. They DO draw from her Resistance stat. Anyione with Konan that desires proof, try removing your equipment from her from the character tab then fight Kakashi. Watch how large the shield is. After one test and getting the control I then removed both the Ninjutsu and Resistance items to see if it was flatrate or pulled from stat. Number went down so it is based on one stat. Put the Ninjutsu item back on and the number did not change from without. Resistance as it was thought, just like most shielding Ninjas.

I think the only Ninjas that don't pull it from Resistance are those who apply it during combat like Gakido or Kurenai. Anyone who applies it before combat like Ao, Temari, Mabui, etc use resistance.

Yes I believe in the CN ver. Konan shields and buffs up to 9 Akatsuki members.
If you're putting in ranked, I'd recommend Pain: Animal Path in a seperate team so there's a chance to target up to 6-7 (including clones) by round 2. With AP using her mystery in round 1 and Konan hitting up to 9 tagged targets (from across 3 enemy teams).

I would agree that passive shields are based on resistance. And the returns on resistance-shield hp isn't really worth it (since her resistance gains are mediocre). I'd recommend to mood Ninjutsu and bring a bit more pain to your foes.
