edo hashirama

depends which combination of teams, either ninjas has their strengths and weaknesses, and tbh about it, im bias and i prefer susanoo itachi, mostly cuz i face ballrutos in arena, so it's faceroll most times cuz his standard hits them everytime. As for edo hashirama, he's good to a certain point, thing is, he doesnt have any immunities to begin with, so most times people going to control him or sometimes kill him, with his SB i think he gets better, but as of right now he's kinda meh, on a competitive level, i havent seen him even on arenas, very rare.

You need to try and look in the near future for this answer.

I believe that edo hashirama is more important to get faster because he is required for a few very good bond misteries that you may use in the future. Moreover, he got breakthroughs in china servers which means we will get them too, and those breaks will make him better than itachi (in my opinion).

There's a reason why hashirama got breakthroughs while itachi no.

Because hashirama is weaker and by a lot.

Hashirama initial idea was to be a ninja to make viable water and wind main as main move 1 damage dealers, but failed because his set was not good enough mostly because doesn't buff them and people preferred to use him as move 1, but since he isn't immune to debuffs or chases and his cd is too high he failed also on that side.

So they thought was just better to think about him as a good support ninja.

Itachi susano'o honestly speaking fails only on one side: mystery. All his other set is still good. An eventual trial for him that give him shisui mystery would make him go back to his past glory, but beware that he is still pretty solid.

The team itachi susano'o - madara founder/konan taisho - shisui - earth main is still perfectly viable.

There is no best. however, SOSP naruto is the easiest to operate, and takes virtually no strategy or skill at all to use. And can hold his own extremely well without any of his teammates.

So there's that.

Personally in terms of status, Edo Hashirama mainly because he's considered the pinnacle end game ninja that only a few have. Susanoo Itachi has faded out a bit with edo itachi eclipsing him in a few areas.
