he will become some day redeemable in other events , but usually when new ninja comes around it will be first placed on recharge event. Note ronin naruto will be redeemable as well since he is not recharge exclusive (or i hope so)
Only recharge exclusives in our version right now is madara 10 tails.(well right now you could say ronin is recharge exclusive for now)
just wait few months then this kimono itachi should appear in redeem event

Itachi will be available soon via coupons but it's tends to be limited for a few events at a relative high price. Then the upcoming weeks and months, he will appear more often and his price will decrease by a bit. This is basically how they introduce new ninjas majority of the time.
