I've been having a real difficult time understanding how immunity and debuffs work. On several occasions today, I've had "immune" ninja's get controlled and debuffs and I can't see any explanation for it. Shira after using his mystery should be immune, sword users should be immune on turn 1, etc. None of these instances involve immunity suppression either. Can someone shed light on this for me plz
Lets say you use Shira,he will become immune after using the mastery(During that turn only). So for example someone like 5 Kage Madara can disperse that immunity easily with his barrier mastery,Ninja that chase contain Dispell all temporary buffs and shield for example Naruto(Six Path) Or Shisui mastery involved dispelling Buffs and Shield +Chaos 2 turn.
The only ninja that doesnt affect by this rule are ninja that Immune to all debuff from the start of the battle for example:Roshi,Naruto(Six Path),Chiriku and etc.

ah, I see. Thank you :D
An easy way to tell if it is an immunity that can be removed or not is if there is an action and a text associated with it, then it can be removed.
For instance with root of warrior (immunity for 3 sword), the lightning main does a fist pump and there is a text with root of warrior.
Iruka shield and buff, also has an action for each.
Shira does an action when he does his mystery.
The immunity to debuffs is itself a buff, so if has any kind of stated duration may be removed by buff clearing effects.
Immunity suppression (like kushina habanero mystery one) doesn't actually remove the immunity but makes it unavailable for a certain amounts of rounds (in her case 1).
