If *ysis why we use these two ninjas, first one the kushina can suppress all immunity to debuffs, and madara can suppress all immunity to chase attacks, so these two together means that there is no immunity when facing this line up. If you want to kill her, then you need to attack her several times, which means she c*e mystery and can earn more 20% highest life heal. If you just ignore her, then she still can heal herself 12% or even 24% highest life a round and is more and more hurt.

So for this couple, we should kill Madara to cancel the 20% heal with mystery and then kill kushina alone. Of course, if you have much higher power than this line up than you can kill them both, but when there is no such big gap between powers, this couple really can create great miracle sometimes.
