I would suggest asking someone from server for the tips. You actually need to see what's done with equipment, and in most cases, go step by step thru every power function starting from basics. For me it usually takes around 1-2 hours of chatting to get player on the right path, and so he can start to understand how the game works.

4. could be a stats or difficulty thing, try again in after a bit of getting power elsewhere or waiting for the difficulty to be reduced if your a lower power on your server
