Hi!

Since you don't really have many options to run position one ninja, the mains are the solution for now till you acquire some of them. Here are few ideas :

Full female team, it is really solid overall and your main will have a very nice buff as well. Temari will remove buffs and shields if someone will try to nuke you as well. You could here change Ino or Temari for Gakido for example. TenTen is another option as well, only for her critical buff and the fact that she'll buff your main as well and also you'll be able to fire her at some point too. You can of course use Iruka as well instead of Temari if you want.

Another option is additionally to upgrade your Gaara. Collect his fragments slowly and skill break him, he is an awesome ninja. He'll really help you a lot in the ninja exams as well! The same goes with Kurenai, she's one of the best supporting ninjas around and you should work slowly towards her too.
