Have you recruited any other version Jiraiya? You only need one of them to unlock him in the home interface (same for any ninja).

That's the reason you see him in your home. You only need 1 version of a character for it to unlock. Doesn't matter which one.

So what you are experiencing is not a bug.

This is not a bug.

As explained, you're only required to own one version of the said character to unlock their Home instances.
