Has anybody know how that works?GNW just over,and I ask all groupmates,but no one got invitation to join this activity.

You can join it if your group doesn't participate in gnw at that time - talk to GNW NPC.

Most servers have 2 rounds on Wednesday and 1 round on Saturday so they will be only able to participate in 2nd Saturday round.

If you have more than 2 active groups in GNW and you are in active group, you won't be able to participate in this activity.

I don't know how this works with x-GNW. Probably same principles apply.

I see,we are indeed 2 groups only in GNW.I hoped we can get some extra action on GNW days,but,oh well.

Heyo,

To be more specific, the random GNW has to do if someone does not participate in GNW player wise or if your group was disqualified. In that case, you can join this additional GNW mode. The person with the highest power in there, is the commander basically. Also, if I remember correctly if the field wins, the commander is getting 30% more rewards than the other players on the field. However, if the field loses, the commander gets 20% less rewards than the other members.
