Edo hiruzen is still very much viable. Although his usefulness has decreased this time around, you can still use him and get great results. Although the power difference would have to be fairly wide for him.

He's very good in arena and god tier in 3v3 if you have 2 or 3 hiruzens. You won't be able to beat Narutos in normal battles unfortunately, unless your opponent doesn't have stacked p1, then you have a chance.

idk about good in arena. Most of the time I see him in arena against me, all he does is break iruka shields (should I be using iruka). That and with KCM Naruto it avoids quite a bit of damage (from chases). However when I use him in arena I get rather good results, so I guess it is dependant on what you face.

tldr, if u dont crit round 1, then dont bother, i beaten edo hiruzen teams around my power, simply cuz they couldnt crit my team, then end up being controlled, from there it's only a matter of time before i win.

If your enemy run hokage minato, hiruzen 3rd hokage, root of warrior or itachi edo tensei it's very possible your hirzuen team with him as move 1 may be beaten even by owning 10/20% less power.

The team that I use struggles only against 5k madara+ mirror (i need to time my interruption to stop 5k, which is pure guess most of the time).

the point of edo hiru is to blitz through teams far below your bp. if the majority of your opponents are not in that range, dont bother with him.

is edo hiruzen's mystery unmissable ? i saw few videos of many dodge ninja taking damage from it then dodging the following chase

u need decent power to make hiruzen work. There are many players on my server that have hiruzen but not many of them cant beat me even when I use just a f2p team. Without power, his mystery does literally 0 dmg or just barely scratch the other team. And if you just barely scratch other team, you gonna get destroyed round 2 by other team because there is no other mystery you c*e except asuma's if you run full buff hiruzen with earth main and sasori edo tensei

edo hiruzen is definitely good and probably id say a must as its much possible the % tactics will come one day in our version as well as it was made clear that we are just delaying it and not avoiding it completely .But if we are talking for now he is still not bad as the chakra system has become a great help making his elemental dmg hit far better than it did before .But mostly hiruzen is meant to wipe out...not that much of ninja for pvp but more like sage and with condition of having a great difference in power.
