Neji's death wasn't sad. It was a reminder that in the world of Naruto *s die and people who want to become Hokage are the heroes. Sasuke should have died in the Valley of the End but he was already afflicted with zombie status. Then he decided to become Hokage and his hero status overruled his final fate determination.

Asuma denied Choji barbecue that one time. He ended up in Hell where he belongs.

Only got upset when Neji, and Jiraiya died.

I thought it was because he changed, y'know? - he wasn't kill-his-cousin-crazy anymore, he realized he was wrong. I suppose you have a different viewpoint, which I get, but in my opinion it was when Naruto beat him in the Chuunin Exams and not in the war.

For some reason I never missed Jiraiya.
