8 Gate Runes EXP?

Has anyone else noticed the exp needed to level up runes for 8 gates have been increased dramatically. Just got a red lightning leveled it to 9 to find out it takes more exp now to get from 9 to 10 than my other reds that i've had forever now. Which comparing my level 9 lightning rune that needs 41k exp to reach level 10 to my level 10 fire rune that only needs 37k exp to be maxed out. They are both red rune versions just wondering when and if it was told to us that the exp to level runes would be increased
