I'd rather they allow me to collect frags for each trial breakthru advancement.
And once you unlock, it remain unlock and you can simply switch if needed.
The diff is you can't estimate what it takes/cost to do skill trial and it's v inflexible.
The RNG roll still feels fine, sure if you want to put some luck into the game.
But its when it comes to the Locking you suddenly realized.
All the Lock that costs, including in purification, is kinda meh after all.
Just make each single roll cost more, and the lock cheap instead.
In fact, make the locks free, and each single roll way exp is better.
A double stacking of cost of Locks upon Rolls makes it complicated.
To the point: penalty is given to those who are unlucky and had to make a choice if to lock way more th*ual.
Imo developers should have put more thought into it.
they are RNG because chinese people are more addicted to hazardous games and gambling in comparison with how western world people are and since this game is a chinese game follows that logic.
It isn't just Chinese games , Japanese games especially mobile games are like this as well, search the term gacha.
Skill trial is rng, because it offers a cheaper and faster alternative to buying via fragments. You can buy sasuke frags in black marget for 20/1 (not that anybody sane would do it) or any ninja really. If you would want to buy books by frags, it would cost you 50 frags+, which is between 1.5-3k per book. Now single use of skill trial is 20cp. Thats cheaper than 1 frag of ninja in every case. Later on, for rare ninjas you will need other materials, but at the same time ninja frag costs goes up (propably up to 200) which is still worth it in most cases. Currently for tsunade and sasuke, if you start from 0 its better to use skill trial to hit some upgrades and buy rest with free frags, but such strategy wont really apply to me
I kinda dread the luck dependent aspect in an advancement as skill trial at the moment. =P
I much prefer the idea I am walking towards my own destiny and it is in fact in line with my fate (Luck?)
That I am here and I have to make that decision, that choice to participate or not.
Who knows maybe I might get over it later, or just move on.
Or maybe I'll just flip a coin and if it lands on tails, I quit XD
Luck is such a thing. Destiny is what you make of it, and Fate is already in the past.
