Both are good in different situations so choose the one that works better against the teams you normally meet. Do you have low init? If so go with team 1. The dodge will be helpful to protect you from control mysteries round 2 as they will have to bait dodge first. It may also help against Han's buff removal mystery. If you think you can kill at least one of your opponents' ninja round 1 (that is if your Kushimaru is heavily stacked) go with Sasori.

Umm, Han's removal mystery is undodgeable... It also removes Mangetsu's dodge buff.

Really? I've run this lineup with mangetsu and I feel like I've seen my ninja dodge Han's mystery. I used it for like a week so I didn't fight that much with it to be sure. Could it be that the animation show them dodging but the mystery still takes effect like water main's poison cloud?

From what I remember there is no dodge animation.
