i find this feature is one sided, only those players who have minato and shisui-itachi who enjoys the full benefits and they already destroyed the good line ups of other players because they cannot enhance their ninjas in this feature(so unfair), i am hoping that the developers will consider redesign this for the equal fairness to the majority, not just selected.

do it tomorrow if u can.

It's worth it regardless on you having Itachi/Shisui or Minato.
It's a good chunk of power & sets you up for having the bond mysteries of other ninja in the future as you already have leveled up Assist links.
