Why does the game's "day" reset at 5 am, but the "days" on events end at 1159, for instance, daily login and such. I'm missing out on 15 Sai frags because of it. Numerous events, in fact.

It's all about server time. Each day ends at 23:59:59 server time (you have your local time displayed there), server reset instead is at 5:00:00 server time.

Hi! Most events reset at 23:59:59 server time. Only some game features reset at 5:00:00 server time.

Did you by chance log in during the given day though? You only need to have logged in to be eligible to claim its respective rewards.
