I...wait, you're saying the Lightning Main's too powerful, right?


That....I don't see how in the world that makes lightning too powerful. The 3 round acupuncture goes for any ninja that can apply Acupuncture (I think.), which include ninja like Haku (with crits), Ao, the Hyuga family (Hinata, Neji, etc), Yagura, Mei (on her standard), Tendo, Killer Bee (Samehada, also on standard.)


Lightning Main's acupuncture mystery is pretty balanced, especially when compared to some other mysteries.


Dance of Impetus resets mystery cool down times, allowing for mysteries to be used instantly, Water Main, with Neurotoxin and...lets say Experimental Ninjutsu, can absorb all the enemy's chakra and potentially chaos 4 units from their side over and over again, it may not be as long as 3 rounds, but there are ways to counter the 3 round acupuncture


Gakido, any unit that removes debuffs. And some units are even immune to debuffs like this.


It's balanced, the 3 rounds is on every acupuncture unit.


Though, if you don't remove it, it can be a problem. But I personally believe it's balanced enough.

To be honest It really isn't, if you wanna talk about balancing use water main shark bombing(No balance there)...I could assure you a round 1 acupuncture and then you have to wait 3 round to get it...The least Op thing this game can do to a main.

1. Almost all teams need the initiative advantage

2. Explain how acupuncture for 3 rounds is op, acupuncture only effects mysteries so it's a reasonable amount of wait time. Your fault you didn't bring a debuff remover to cleanse the acupuncture

3. Compared to other mysteries, lightning main's is quite fodder. Wind main can cleanse debuffs and reset mystery cooldown, Earth main has a chakra+massive shield providing mystery or a 1 layer of debuff clearing+standard giving mystery. Water main can heal up all the units in your team or have a chaos inducing round to round mystery(if used with neurotoxin+ninjutsu experimentation) that *s off all chakra. Lastly, Fire main gives an immunity shield.

You think I don't think through my comments? There are some I like to just mess around with, though, on topics like this, I try to provide a bit more serious results.


I don't know if I should try responding to this, but I will.


Yes, the Shark bomb spam does require initiative to work, but it can still be a problem even without the initiative.


Think about it like this.


Lightning Seal Slash-1 unit Acupuncture+Damage, can be pulled off R1, 20 chakra.

Shark Bomb-4 unit high crit water based damage, absorbs all chakra, can be pulled off at R1 at the earliest, with experimental ninjutsu, and potentially every other round after that due to the cooldown being reset over and over, 40 chakra, normally R2.


Shark bomb is a bit harder to pull off, but if has a much higher outcome then Lightning Sealing Slash, and Sealing Slash can easily be "Negated", not the damage of course, unless you're using healers, then they can heal, but there are a lot of ways to cleanse debuffs. And there's always stopping the lightning main too, it'd just simply be a mystery for a mystery. 3 Rounds acupuncture may sound like a lot, but a lot of people can do this, if it's not cleansed, it can be a problem, but that doesn't mean it needs a nerf. It has damage and single unit acupuncture, how is that overpowered?
