About Fu(Seven-Tails Jinchuriki) passive skill called Surprisingly Odds

it says that "At the beginning of a battle, every Jinchuriki in your team will receive Extra Standard Attack ( Cannot be stacked with other extra standard attack skill's effect)

I just want to clarify if the effect is only for your own lineup or every Jinchu on the field? Cause what I expect and know is that when it says in your team it means, its effect is in the battlefield. But from what I experienced, the effect was only for my line-up. Is this just a wrong statement? Please clarify and correct it. Thanks.

  • Only your line up.

so it means statement error, so they should make it in your line up instead of in your team

it's more than just a statement error tbh. in the english version, "team" seems to be used for any collection of ninjas on the battlefield. "team", "lineup" "field" are all used inconsistently and interchangeably in the english translations, whereas in the chinese version, there's a clear distinction between "small team" (lineup) and "whole team" (across the 3 fields).

it's a small inconsistency in the general scheme of things but it's very pervasive and quite the cause of confusion.

eg.

- iruka's description says that he gives buffs and shields to "konoha units in your field", but in this case, "field" refers to your personal lineup

- kk gaara's passive barrier buffs ninjas "in your field", and here, "field" refers to every ninja across the whole battlefield

- but darui's barrier description reads "in your team" and yet we know his barrier properties are the same as gaara's and buffs the whole battlefield

in conclusion: oasis hire me to translate for you please i need money and i work hard :>
