1＃ Go To"so", i tell myself as i open PaintTool Sai, "I'll draw scarlet blaze and i'll label every single one of my layers. This way, i won't have to search through 30-something layers just to edit the luminosity of a single strand of hair."
I begin drawing, quickly becoming immersed. Before long, i have 27 untitled layers, my workspace is a mess, my hand is cramping, i've lost the layer that i'm working on, my windows shatter and my house falls apart around me.

anyway you're probably here for the art lol
this is legit my first time putting out an anime-styled fanart, so it's probably not very anime-like in the first place...
also the background isn't drawn by me

It's not that much, trsut me I had way more and I nearly passed out.

i merge a lot of layers as i go. it's my way of keeping my workspace tidy. but they still pile up lol. 27 is just the final product...

i always draw scarlet's hair in varying shades of red and brown...partly because i can't tell what his original hair colour is and partly because i am just a really strong avocate for red-haired scarlet. the rest of the mains have hair coloured for their elements, why not scarlet too? hehehe
any chance for fanart of CF in this outfit? idk haha i can try but i have assignments piling up...but i'll gather the sprite references soon just in case!
