Scarlet groaned and changed position on bed, carefully to not press too much on injured side of chest- souvenir from a fight during today's mission.

He couldn't' sleep. It was hurting a lot- beside he always was finding it difficult to fall asleep in places other than his own small bed.

He sat up and gently touched painful spot on ribs. Then looked around at room, that they got for a night on a way home: light of almost full moon was leaking through big window, filling room with dim glow. Near that window, there was other bed- with his white-haired team mate sleeping peacefully.

Scarlet stared at him for a moment and sighed sadly.

'Why do you have to look so cute like this... heh.'

Midnight moved in his sleep and opened mouth a little, making Scarlet chuckle quietly.

'Yeah, why not. Tease me more like this, haha.'

Fire-nin sighed again. It was rare occasion to see Midnight like this- relaxed and just simply adorable. Even though they were in one team for few good years now, he was always avoiding sharing room with Scarlet.

Well, with anyone, to be honest.

Younger boy shuffled on bed and his sleeping expression changed: he grinned like if in pain and was blabbering some words, impossible to understand. Other boy thought it must be some bad dream, so he slowly walked closer to other bed and after a moment of hesitation, sat down quietly, next to Midnight, ready to comfort him or wake up in case of nightmares.

But instead of that, he noticed how his face relaxed again and after a moment changed to a smile filled with obvious pleasure.

Scarlet stared at him- he never saw a smile like this on him...

'What kind of dream are you having...'

A minute of silence passed and suddenly midnight left out a quiet, stifled moan, bringing shivers down the back of Scarlet.

He was just sitting there, amazed by how incredibly cute and enticing it was. And then he heard it clearly when Midnight moaned out also his name.

Fire-nin almost chocked on air while taking a rapid breath. For whole this time when he was always just dreaming of this boy to be his- and never had bigger hopes for it... and now he hear something like this... he have THIS kind of dream about him?

He could swear that his body filled up with fire, stoked up with his t* heart. He couldn't let it go just like this now...

'Wake up, sleepyhead!' he shout and grabbed Midnight's hands, pinning them down to the bed on the sides of his head.

'What the f...' boy opened eyes, which widened as he was staring on Scarlet's face, being just a little above his own.

When first shock left his sleepy mind, he tried to shake him off- only to realize he wasn't able to move almost at all. his eyes narrowed, still gazing at Scarlet and his blood-red eyes glowing in dark.

'What are you doing? Did you completely lost your mind?'

Scarlet smirked in response. 'Probably yes.' he giggled.

Fire-nin was studying face of other boy- he was way too good in controlling his body when it comes to showing emotions. but his eyes were telling whole the truth now.

'Get off me. And stop using your tricks- it's not funny and it's late. Go back to sleep!'

'I'm not making jokes of you.' Scarlet smiled cutely. 'Just never knew you are a sleep-talker.'

Midnight froze. Was he talking during THAT dream?... ****...

He closed eyes and tried to free his hands again- without much effect as whole his body was like drained off energy and not listening to him at all. He looked up again.

'End the jokes and get off.'

Scarlet lowered his head ever more, still staring straight into blue eyes.

'I am not joking.' he said slowly, with a sly smirk. 'I wanna hear it again... how you moan out my name.'

Midnight swallowed slowly and Scarlet noticed that sudden shade of panic in his eyes.

'Let me go, Scarlet... stop it.'

'No.' Fire-nin's face got more serious. 'You stop holding everything back. You won't tell me you didn't like that dream. Hmmm?'

Midnight turned head to the side, avoiding stare of him.

'I am... professional ninja- trained from earliest years to be one. I don't need anybody and i don't need such thin-'

'Bullsh**.'

Scarlet released his hands and grabbed his chin, gently turning his face back to him.

'Stop telling yourself those lies.'

Midnight tried moving again- now he had control back. he could just kick him off.

But...

Scarlet leaned down and licked Midnight's lower lip, very slow and enjoying the little jolt that going through other boy's body under him.

He lift head a little, to look at that adorable blush finally showing on his face.

'Scarlet... you... dmn idiot...'

'Mmhmmmm...' fire-nin purred, going for a real kiss this time.

And as clumsy as it was- midnight kissed him back, gently and slowly, making Scarlet's heart almost fly out of his chest from happiness.

He run fingers through white, messy hair and smiled to himself in a middle of a kiss, enjoying touch of unexpectedly soft lips.

And then, Midnight put hand on his injured side and pressed way too much on it, making him back off and almost cry out from pain.

'Looks like you broke a rib or two. You shouldn't be moving so much like that.'

Scarlet looked at him with a painful grin.

'In such moment... how could you...'

'Hush already and go to sleep.'

'No way! C'mon...'

Midnight smiled a little and wrapped arms around him, careful to not touch injured spot again and pulled Scarlet on himself in a soft hug.

Fire-nin growled, pressing nose on his neck.

'No way I will fall asleep like that... and it's now fair- you control yourself WAY TOO MUCH!' he pouted, shifting position a bit, because of a little discomfort down his body.

'You will sleep. We will talk tomorrow.'

Scarlet replied with quiet growling for that. But warmth of other's boy body and loud beating of his heart was somehow making him so comfortable and sleepy pretty fast.

'D@mn you, Middy-chan.'

'Mhm. Goodnight.
