Azure sighed, irritated over amount of paper work she was left with at reception of Konoha's hospital. There wasn't many patients that day, so at least it was her only work.

'Here you go, I finished this so now only two more... mountains of papers...' she said, faking sobbing, while handing a stack of papers to a nurse sitting there with her.

Meanwhile, door of hospital opened and a very familiar voice rung in her ears, making her rapidly turn around.

'Good afternoon~' boy welcomed them with a bright smile. 'I was told that I can find the best medic here- is Dr. Azure currently taking patients in?'

Azure's eyes widened and for a moment she was staring at him, opening and closing mouth.

'SCARLET!! Oh my gosh, it's you!!...' she jumped over the reception's table and run into his arms, with a bone-crushing hug.

And then she showered him with questions, not really letting him speak- after all it was 3 years since they saw each other last time.

'And you grew up too!' Azure smirked.

'Not as much as I would wish for, haha' he replied with a bit crooked smile.

'I missed you so much...' she squeezed him in another breath-taking hug, this time making him groan.

'...ouch...' he backed a bit from her arms. 'I missed you too- you don't even have idea, haha... but I really need some medical treatment now.' He gently rubbed left side of his chest.

'Ohmygosh I'm sorry, are you hurt? What happened? Let me check it, come with me!' and she pulled him to one of small rooms, telling nurse to wait a bit with work.

'It's nothing bad , just a scratch. We met some little troubles on our way and well- I was too tired to avoid every hit.; he scratched back of his head, while Azure stood in front of him, with hands on hips.

'Pull shirt up and let me take a look. And really... you look like if you didn't sleep for few days.' Azure sighed checking big bloody bruise on his side and trying to not focus too much on the lines of muscles, quite well visible under his tanned skin. 'Really... you should take better care of yourself.'

'It's just because we were making just short breaks. I... wanted to get back home as fast as possible.' Warm smile brighten his face again, when Azure rose head and looked straight into his eyes.

Something in that gaze of his made her blush a little bit and lower head- and then she noticed a ring, hanging like a pendant on his neck.

'Oh, what's this? A gift from some beautiful girl maybe?' she said with an empty smile and immediately cussed on herself in her mind.

'Yes. From the most beautiful girl that i know.'

'Oh, I see.' Azure focused on his injuries, ignoring the weight in her chest.

Scarlet was looking at her with a smirk.

"You really don't remember it?'

'Huh?'

He rolled the ring between his fingers.

'You gave it to me, during one of our first missions together.'

Azure looked at him surprised. Then she finally reminded herself.

'But... but it was just for fun- it's just a toy after all- piece of metal worth like nothing...'

'Don't say that...' Scarlet pouted. 'It's my most precious treasure!'

Azure glared at him and thought about what he said about that ring a bit earlier.

She could feel the fire crawling up her cheeks.

'You kept it whole this time?'

'Of course.' His face turned more serious. 'Azure, you know... I, uhhh...'

Girl stared at him, when boy tried to find words or more like gather himself to speak out. She noticed a lovely shade of pink decorating also his cheeks now.

'Azure... would you go out with me? I mean- date? I... uhhh...well I'm sorry... I think that such a great girl like you already has someone or so... I should start with that... sorry... But you see- I always...' Scarlet swallowed, avoiding looking her in the eyes. 'I always wanted... and maybe it's too late or not best moment...I'm sorry but It's-'

Seal of a gently kiss closed his mouth and his eyes widened from surprise.

It took him a moment to snap back his brain to start functioning again, after Azure pulled back a bit, with that adorable smile on her face.

'I love you so much...' he whispered, gently embracing her blushing face with a bit shaking hands.

'I love you too, silly you.' she laughed quietly, putting hands on his sides and pulling him closer again for another kiss.
