Today was July 23.

It wasn't just a day or a month, It was a birthday. A certain Uchiha's birthday, to be exact. Sasuke ignored everyone who wished him a happy birthday, Seeing that he never celebrated it after years since his clan's murder.

A knock was heard from his front door. Probably more fangirls trying to wish him a happy birthday. Sasuke sighed as he opened his door slightly, surprised to see Sakura Haruno. He raised his eyebrows, moving to the side to let her in. She smiled and walked in, holding a bag filled with things. Sasuke shut the door, sitting onto the couch, Sakura sitting next to him.

"What's that?" He asked, pointing to the bag she had in the grip of her hand. She giggled, putting the bag on her lap reaching into it.

"So I know you dislike Celebrating your birthday, and sweets, But I decided to get you a few things." Sakura said, Pulling out a cake. It wasn't big, but It was enough to share. She then pulled out a wrapped present.

"You didn't have to.." Sasuke said, Looking into the smaller girls green eyes. She grinned, Handing him the gifts.

"But I did, Now Open them while I go get some plates." Sakura got up, walking into the kitchen getting the plates and forks. Meanwhile, Sasuke opened up the present. it had numerous of weapons that were useful in it, Some were even ones he wanted. He looked at ths box of things in awe.Sakura walked back into the room, Setting he plates infront of him and herself. She then opened the cake and put the candles on top of the cake, lighting then all with a lighter. Sasuke watched as his friend sang Happy Birthday to him. When she was done, Smoke softly went into the air as the flames were *n by the Uchiha. Boy did this take him back. He remembered celebrating his birthday with his family. The cake. The presents. The people. Before he could do anything about it, I tiny tear slipped down his eye, Hitting his cheek. Sakura was shock. She started worrying that she did something. So she panicked. "S-Sasuke, Oh my god I am so sorry. I didn't mean to make you cr-" She got cut off but a pair of strong arms wrapping around her waist. She stiffened at first, But gradually warmed up into the hug by wrapping her arms around his neck, Smiling.

"Thank you, Sakura." Sasuke mumbled, His voice going soft. She looked up at the raven, Her eye's locking with his onxy ones. There were so much emotion was held in his dark orbs. She looked deep into them, Trying to find each one. They sparkled with anger, happiness, and love. Anger. No he was not angry at Sakujra. He was angry about the fact he still keeps remembering the old times. The faces of his family surrounding the table as he blew out the candles on the cake. The emotion of excitement he felt when opened up the presents. The happiness from the people around him actually showing that they loved him. Boy does he wish he was back. Happiness. He was happy about his friend doing such a little thing thing for him. It made him know she thought about him. It made him feel like he did about eight years ago before the killing of his clan, And last but not least, He felt love. He felt like an idiot for him to to be feeling this for Sakura. Sasuke was an avenger. He wanted to live his reality and kill is brother. He wanted to then restore his clan. But Maybe, Just maybe, She could help him restore it. He thought being in love is just a *, cliché thing. He thought it would be in his way of doing his reality plan. Something struck in his stomach. That struck then turned into a fluttering feeling. What the hell is this? Why is he feeling this way? His face looked down at the other he held.

He felt his face heating up. This worried Sakura.

"Sasuke? Are you alright?" She asked, Feeling his forehead. It was warm. She thought it was because he was catching a fever, But boy was she wrong.

"You are burning u" and yet again, She was cut off. Not by arms, But by a pair of soft pink lips. Her eyes widned as she say the Uchiha kissing her, But after a few seconds, She shut her eyes and kissed back. It was a bit heated, But perfect. The two pulled away for air. Sasuke breathed as Sakura gave him a confused look. "W-What was that about?" She asked, Flustered.

"...I think I may be inlove with you.." It sounded like a question. He was confued about his feelings. He then stared at the girl who sat infront of him. He s* his head. "No, Wait. I dont think I am, I know I am. Sakura, I love you."

Sakura's breath hicked. She looked into Sasuke's eyes and then smiled. He was being honest.

"Sasuke I.. I love you, too." You could see the relief come off his shoulders.

"Happy Birthday, Sasuke." She mumbled, Grinning at the Uchiha. He smiled softly back.

"C'mon, Let's finish the cake before the icing melts more." Sasuke said and pecked her cheek.

"Alright." Sasuke had to admit...It was the best birthday he had had in a while.
