  • It seems to appear more or less randomly when you fight a lot stronger teams or when the fight drags out to late rounds. Pretty much every 10-80k team I face always can instantly retreat. Same thing goes for me when I encounter 200k opponent.

Tbh Im farming 2 more gengetsu frags to upgrade the stars and im done with that event too, unless I need a stamina potion for some reason. On a sidenote those frags add up, ever since implementation I've got over 60 combined frags of roshi, gengetsu and han, which is quite nice for freebies.

Is based on the difference in power between the two strongest players of the two teams. The same the matching system goes with it.

The main problem is what garv and partially shadowblaze pointed out: the rewards.

If you do not get rewards for the simple fact you take part in it in some way there is literally no reason for low powers to join the feature after they tried it for 4-5 times.

And if there are no low powers there are also no medium powers able to stomp on them that can be easily beaten by people like me. Is not possible that unless you are a whale or friend of a whale even if you are at 140-150k power like me you are compelled to do 6-7 battles just to get the very first reward (10kills + 1 win).

Personally speaking i was compelled to quit the feature because i used to go in with a friend that now is at 125k power and after we both hit kage rank we faced for one whole week only people stronger than we were by far.

He quitted the feature, compelling me to do it too, after that for 1 whole hour we were not able to get neither the 1st win reward and after took literally 20 minutes to get the 10th kill because even if we asked to let us get the single ninja kill most of the whales we faced behaved like if they did not care for others and most of the times they did not even reply.

And if this is the experience of a duo that at that time was 115k + 100k, how do you think the environment is for somebody at 40, 60 or even 80k?

  • It wouldn't even be that bad as you make it out to be. I was able to hit 6 paths in 2.0 on a newish server just fine when x-server came out for the server.

This is literally impossible, sorry.

Or you hit it when your server was still not in cross server zone (and this seems the case since you talk about newly opened server, and at that time for the first 2-3 months servers were not added in the x-server circuit) or you are mistaking 3.0 for 2.0 or you thought you were added to x-server but instead you were still intraserver or you were at 58 before going x-server and you had the luck of the devil meeting the only guy you could beat, but just once, otherwise at that time, unless you had 11k+ total initiative with a 4k move 1 (that is like now owning 9000 initiative in move 1 and 28k+ total) and a strong meta team was absolutely impossible to hit six paths.

The very first teams able to hit six paths without owning those requirements were han, roshi, sailor sakura that began to be available to f2p around july, one month before 3.0 was implented.

There were people (the very few that did not give up earlier) with mei mabui tenten gnw and kimimaro danzo mifune, that at the time were like konan angel or edo hiruzen metas now, that stayed for 6-7 months consecutively at superkage -20/-30 if not higher because they had not that level of initiative.

  • Considering I had started on during 2.0 and I didn't get it til after 3 months after the server opened, you'd be wrong :)

Also the server opened on 2/14/207. Which is way before 3.0.

Then you were a whale and you cashed enough to reach the level of initiative the perfect f2p plannere from servers 5-8 months older than your owned or you owned ay 4th or six tails naruto. Because hitting six paths at that time in a server as young as your required one of those 3 conditions.

Why? Because to begin to get +2 you needed to win at least 3 times consecutively (now is 2) and the matching system was point based (you could not meet anybody that was outside the range of ±3 points from you with no level range limitaton, now it goes by time and every 30 seconds of waiting widens the rank range among which you can pick opponents + there is a level limit for the first minute so that you cannot meet anybody 10+ levels higher than you if you do not hit at least the 60th second of waiting time). So guess who did you meet when you were at 54-58? Only people that were at 51+ points and who were them? Or very old server f2p or cashers, all of them owning higher initiative and better lineups than you (unless you were a bigger casher than them) and you had a very high chance at 57-58 to meet some huge whale with 6tails or kage superrare metas that sent you back in the middle ages with one click.
