What is the optimal Chakra runes to run on each character for highest Power per chakra rune?

Hi! Are you looking for highest power or most optimal Chakra runes to run for your lineup? In my opinion, some of the great runes that work for many lineups would be Initiative, Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Defense, Resistance, Damage Reduction, Life, and Critical. Some other stats can help with more specific builds would be control, injury, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu Pen3tration.


However, this is kinda subjective based on what lineup you use and what you are looking to do. If you want though, posting your lineup and an explanation of what you can do can help us help you better xD

5 main stats + init-crit-injury is what i have.


Even after the p3netration drama, i still do more damage against others 200k with a yellow injury than with a red tai/nin pen.

I will suggest Initiative, Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Defense, Resistance, Life as the main ones. If the character is more Taijutsu based you can ditch Ninjutsu and same for the other. Also Initiative is a must only on position 1, but if you have a barrier ninja you need Initiative on everyone.

Then I will suggest Ice (control) for CC ninjas along with the Gourd treasure tool.

Critical an Injury you get from the Rope treasure tool so if you want bonus damage you should go for them and enhance that, rather than Nin and Tai pene.

Reason why Nin and Tai pene are bad is that they don't add up to damage if you have more than the opponents Damage Reduction, and you basically have more than that by default since they don't go for Sand runes, this is why I also suggest Sand for supports.

Also I would take Explosive(Critical) over Injury, it doesn't matter how hard you critical if you don't get the critical in the first place.

I like Nin-Tai,Injury,Control,Combo,Crit,Initiative on all 4 of them. initiative is based on wheter you use a barriare ninja or not. But i also play a more offensive gameplay.
