Dosu, this is for you!

Night fell over Konoha as the light of the moon shone over the village. Practically everyone was asleep, aside for some shinobi who were patrolling the streets and some of the guards at the gate.

A white streak blurred through the rooftops, another figure following it. Both of them kept on rooftop running as they reached their destination; a random alleway. The two figures dropped down silently. One of them had bright-white hair, a Konoha hiate-ate wrapped around his forehead. Cold blue eyes pierced through the dark as he placed a sheathed blade on his waist belt. The other was easy to recognize, the figure being Orochimaru.

The Snake Sannin looked around the alleyway for anything of value. He saw none. "Remind me again why we're here, Alucard."

The white-haired male didn't respond. Instead, he fished his hand through his pocket and pulled out a handful of seals. He threw them in all directions, the seals pasting itself onto the walls. Alucard raised his hand and silently said, "Kai." The seals glew a dimmed colored of blue, the sealings on the paper etching itself onto the walls. The male drew back his cloak and stared at Orochimaru emotionlessly.

"Just be glad that I let you out again, Orochimaru. And to answer you, we're here to pay a debt to someone I owe."

Alucard took out a vial and a scroll. He threw it to Orochimaru, whom promptly caught it. The Snake took a look at the contents of the vial and saw it had a single bloodied bandage, the material brown, probably since the blood stained it years ago. He was confused and looked at the male with a curious expression.

"A DNA sample? You plan on having me revive someone with the Edo Tensei then?"

Alucard nodded as a response. "Correct. The one we are reviving...no. I'll leave it a secret until they're back to the living."

Orochimaru shrugged. But then he realized that the requirements were incomplete, since they needed a sacrifice. Alucard chuckled and raised his hand into the Tiger seal. He muttered, "Copy Jutsu" and a puff of smoke materialized, before it was bl*wn away to reveal a girl in what seemed to be priestess clothing. It was Hebihime.

Before anything could be said, Alucard blurred and acupunctred Hebihime, causing her to slump and fall down, completely immobile. Alucard looked at the fallen female and grinned.

"There's your sacrifice."

Orochimaru nodded and knelt down. He took hold of the Scroll and unfurled it. Next was the vial, and out came the stained bandage. Orochimaru then smeared it all over the scroll, which caused the markings to glow blue. The Snake Sannin circled through the necessary hand seals for Edo Tensei. He slammed his hands down onto the scroll, causing the markings to spread and go towards Hebihime.

The immobile female screamed in immese pain as the markings coursed through her body, turning to both ashes and dust. In a matter of painful and agonizing minutes, Hebihime was dead. The ash and dust shape hunched forward, making it look like it was shorter. Soon, it gained color and features.

The shape looked human, gaining gray camo clothing. His head's wrapped around in dozens of bandages, his left eye the only thing exposed, which was all black. Black pupils and black sclera. His entire being is a bit cracked, and in a minor state of decay. The ressurected one blinked and looked around with apprehension and curisoity.

"You're wondering where you are, aren't you?"

The revived one stared at Alucard with his single eye narrowed. "You. I remember you. You're one of the Genin that helped defend Sasuke Uchiha."

Alucard nodded. "Good observation. But, to answer your unasked question, you've been revived with Edo Tensei. You're now under my will and answer my every order. Essentially, you're a puppet!"

Anger surged through the man's eye. It grew even further when he recognized the person standing right next to Alucard. "Orochimaru!" However, much to his shock, he couldn't move his body, only his head and his facial expression. "W-what on-?!"

"You have nothing to worry about, he's not YOUR Orochimaru. And like I've said, you're my puppet. You're bent to my exact will, Dosu." Alucard then smirked. "However." He precured a kunai with a special tag attached to it. Alucard walked up to the still Dosu and inserted the kunai in his head, by phashing his hand and putting it through the mummy-like shinobi's head.

Soon, the cracks on Dosu's body mended, his entire being regaining its color. His eyes, however, remained the same. Dosu grew curious and found himself able to lift his hands. The Sound-nin looked at the cloaked Konoha-nin with a raised eyebrow as he straightened himself.

"What did you do?"

Alucard stared at him and simply gave his response. "I gave you your free will, and as well as restore you back to full strength. You're wondering why I revived you, aren't you?"

Dosu looked at his hand and clenched it. He returned his look at Alucard and nodded. "In all honesty, yes. Why did you have me be ressurected? A lowly Genin from The Sound Village."

The white-haired male spun around, his hands behind his back. "It's quite simple really. An acquintance of mine has some interest on you. He sees the brightest potential in YOU. He witnessed your death with sadness, and berates himself for being unable to do anything. I owed him and revive you. It took very long to find some of your DNA, but here you are."

Dosu took the information like a sponge and nodded. "How long has it been since I died?"

"Two and a half years. If you're wondering, Oto lost the invasion and you're temmates are dead."

The mummy-like shinobi shrugged and placed a hand on his waist "I figured that. Honestly, Zaku's impulsive and Kin's a bit arrogant."

Alucard nodded and dispelled Orochimaru. He took a few steps forward before he stopped and faced Dosu. "It's your choice if you want to go the man who had you be revived. Just get to the Land of Fire's Forest and look for the man called Genji. He wi;l lead you to the man." And with that, he disappeared in a Body Flicker.

Dosu crossed his arms and pondered upon his new life. Now, he's a free man. He can decided on his own, and become anything he wanted to be. But he walso curious about the person Alucard spoke about. The former Sound-nin grunted and jumped out of the alleyway and headed for Konoha's Forest.
