I just leveled up to rank +1 the standard attack today.

I didn't see any difference in arena in comparison with before in regard of the high chance to start a combo.

tried it myself I think it needs to hit the repulse effect for it to count.

edit: just tried it on the kakashi clone yeah it seems the damage buff only counts on the hit that does repulse and nothing more so he doesnt scale or anything just hits harder on repulse.
