1＃ Go ToMy jonin medal expired a week or so ago, do i still get the 50% return in coupons if i renew it now, or do i already have to have a medal active for the event? The event information does not seem very clear on this.

I'm pretty sure you just had to have already had a medal once before the event happened to get the rebate. If you are doing it for the first time, then you don't get the rebate.
Yupz, you hit the mark! xD As long as you had purchased a Jonin Medal (obtained the 30 Naruto [Ninetails Chakra] fragments) before, you are eligible in obtaining the rebate for participating in the Jonin Medal Renewal, regardless if it is expired or currently active.
