Only 3 groups participate in GNW on our server, one group regularly wins it as they have most of the strongest users in the server. We routinely place 2nd, with the final group coming in third. On the wednesday, we faced the 3rd place group first and won, and miraculously won against the 1st place group due to some fortune with the lands. So yesterday instead of again, facing the 3rd place group first to proceed to the finals, we had to face the strong group first. Which we unsurprisingly lost. So the usually finishing 3rd place group auotmatically came 2nd just by being in the finals. Seems like we were punished for winning both our matches on a wednesday, so would intentionally losing them instead lead to a higher placed finish?? Or is this mainly just an issue due to the fact that only 3 groups participate in GNW? Reply

wednesday outcome matters only to select the 8 groups that take part in gnw if there are more than 8 groups registered.

if there are 8 or less groups registered then what happens on wednesday doesnt' matter at all and what matters to select what group faces what other on saturday is first the level then the total power.

example:

this is the situation in my server. only top 3 group are able to register. since all of them are level 12, then what matters is the total power. Always uzumaki clan and rinnegan face each other in semifinals and kirikagure gets the bye (since should face the 4th group that is not there).

it's another rinnegan. ICEx deliberately stays low in total power to avoid going in x-server XD

My group doesnt do X-gnw, mostly cuz 8 groups aint enough, besides we get to fight more in the normal one.
