+1 Delays influence battle atm.. not initiative or slot position .. i saw that so many times .. (at beginning round 2 cast instant what you need will works with np .. than if you wait till your slot 1 start to hit with basic attack and try to use your kurenai or other hero mastery he will become like non-prompt /delay/lag/0 realtime fight
- i saw when my friend slot 2 shisui cast mastery to cc slot 3 wind main refresh mastery and what do you think .. wind main cast more fast than shisui slot2)
- i start to think "ping with server" is better than initiative for every middle/end round (i like when i win vs ppl with delays and gap 30k+ bp)
-Delay=Lag=Ping with server (if you have bad ping with server .. even your screen show you cast mastery .. server didnt know you cast mastery and when you cast and thats way slot 3 with good ping will win vs slot 2 )

What we see on our minitor is not the actual speed of the battle, we tend to wait for the animation to complete to cast a mystery but if the server recognize the turn already over even before the animation end then it will recognize the mystery you cast at the end of 1st round to 2nd round. Happen mostly in fight where either teams has long combo animation.
this is true !!! and i think it is easy to fix it if they add new option *on active / desactive animation heroes in battle ..and i'm sure server runs without animations time (1 deidara animation take 2-3 sec + 1 shisui animation 2-3 sec .. that's "4"sec client->server delay what didn't count it) ..
sry if i'm wrong but client runs too slowly compare with what server sent/recive packet and is not real time
