Been having lots of discussion with my group on how to determine who goes first each round. There is only one item we have been able to determine that are pretty consistent across the board.

Position - A ninja in a higher position will always act before a ninja in a lower position for a regular attack. When using a Mystery skill, skill activation time can override position if an opposing ninja is using a Mystery with a faster activation.

Outside of that, we have not been able to determine the order of the tie-breakers. Here are some of the items we've been testing but have not got any consistent results. Below is what we have been able to determine as the tie breaker order based on our tests, but take them with a grain of salt.

Ninja Level - A ninja with a higher level appears to gain a first action advantage on regular attacks most of the time, but not always. We theorize that Initiative may play a role. Any help?

Ninja Star Level - Ninja's with a higher star level almost always gain first action on a regular attack, but as with all other tests this is not always the case. Again, it appears Initiative may influence this.

Initiative - Increase Action Speed - The idea is the ninja with the higher stat will go first if in the same position (ninja in a higher position will go first regardless). During some testing we've found that even those with a lower Initiative stat sometimes go first. So is does this stat just increase the chance? Like a coin flip? Or is there something we are missing?

In conclusion, we have seen that there are times when two ninja teams of the same level and roughly the same team power have different outcomes on first action per round. There are times when a ninja in position 5 will launch a regular attack before the opposing ninja in position 4 even though the position 4 ninja has higher Initiative. We have seen tests where a ninja with a lower Initiative in the same position as its opponent will act first. If anyone can help decipher this, that would greatly help a ton! Thanks!
