He's currently not at the top because of so many immunity teams that are more accessible to even the worst of the players. In the future he'll get a mystery upgrade which'll give him an aoe interrupt every 2 uses. What he lacks right now is Five Kage Conference Madara, who I doubt will come out in less than a year(Future Obito/10x better version of Han + Kisame). Considering the immunity and dodge mechanics atm, I'd recommend that you don't get him yet unless you really want to

I've had Jonin Minato since about 65-70kish power and I do think he's really strong, but he also has some difficulties that can be hard to overcome without the right ninjas.

An excellent and fairly easy to team to achieve would be Wind Main + Gaara/Kazekage Gara + Gakido + Jonin Minato, with talents 32134 (or 42134 against Root teams). Gakido can be replaced with skillbroken Kurenai (although I find it weaker) or for a more offensive team, Pakura.

I find that the non-pakura version of the team has difficulties dealing with most clone teams. Not unbeatable, but difficult.

If you got Shisui, you c*e the team I'm currently using. Wind main + Kurenai + Shisui + Jonin Minato, with talents 32114. This team deals better with clone teams etc due to Shisui (who is just a really sick ninja) plus having the debuff mirror can make a huge difference against some teams.

If you also got masked man, there's a strong team with Fire main + Masked Man + Shisui + Jonin Minato, not sure what talents are.

I don't see immunity teams as a problem since I am confident with using masked man to cripple most immunity teams (except for permanent immune ninjas like roshi) so again the question stands: with masked man providing support, would he be a viable ninja?

thank you for the reply. Though I do not have Shisui, I do have Masked Man. From your opinion as a Jonin Minato user, is his usefulness so good that I should get him right away or just wait to build up his fragments overtime?

I think like the above posted said, Madara [5 Kage Summit] will work really well with Jonin Minato, especially with his bond skill on top of that.

For me personally, I went all out on Jonin Minato fragments because 1) I think he's cool af 2) he's a strong ninja 3) his bond skill is effing bonkers. Obviously we don't have bond skills yet, but when we do, Jonin Minato + Shonen Obito and Shonen Kakashi is going to wreck hard.

Since I don't have Masked Man myself, I haven't done much research into it but I guess something like this:

we got shisui 4 months ago. For what we know could be madara 5th kage conference appears next week.
