Space time Combat bug

Good night.

So i've been noticing this every single day... On space time combate i'm usually top 5 and a lot of times, people from 20th with cancer squads can challenge me randomly out of nowhere and drop me to their spot... then when i try to get my spot back it doesn't allow me! it forces me everytime to go against the strongest guy on space time which i can't beat sometimes in order to climb back! how come this happens? and when i refresh opponents like i did tonight where this guy dropped me to 22th, i refresh 6 times and no opponents changed! Please explain to me what is going on with this system, why are the others allowed to take my spot freely, everyone seems to see me on their space time target list but i'm not allowed to defend myself and take my spot back?

I'm getting sick of this and i hope there's a good explanation for it. Makes ZERO sense that these guys are able to challenge me whenever they want with their * squads but i'm forced to climb up slowly or i have to challenge the strongest guy with 20k more than me (everyday this happens!)
