Actually, the time of the opening of the said event is not a big deal .. Since almost all Hot-Topics events opens every after 23:59 ServerTime or after the ServerRefresh at 05:00 .. Making you to have long hours to do the Synthesizing of your runes .. Unless, you have work or something important that makes you unable to Synthesize your runes before the GNW starts .. What's more annoying for me is the opening of Additional Events without early notice, like what happened last set of events, i drained out all my resources to try getting Edo Deidara, then Lucky Stars appeared with Hinata[DreamWorld] in it as redeemable ninja (those people who knows me well will get the idea why i got p1ssed with the additional events last week) .. Not that i'm complaining about being unlucky, spending-thousand-of-coupons-and-get-nothing rants of dumdums .. just simply, Hinata weighs more than Edo Deidara to me ..

Back to the topic, just like what Re*y said, most likely the first reason he/she said is true .. The "Ultimate Essence Tool" in the Wheel of Fortune is the one i think the best reason for this, being on the Wheel of Fortune, the said item can be grabbed if you maintain your position as 1st place, of course by spending more to get more points but once you get into that event, the possibility of people to spend more is high since it'll be competition against other people (specially those characters who is only dummy accounts, the usual accounts who have tons of saved coupons) .. While in the "Cave Exploration Event", if they are planning to put the Ultimate Tool Essence again there, it will be fixed and there is no competition against other players .. just hit the required amount or times of draws and you'll be fine ..

The real-life mindset of people, being impulsive buyers is what the game targeting (when it comes to earning good income from the events) .. Once the people with deep pockets see that item, they will grab it like there's no tomorrow .. until the day comes that additional events will open and the said item will be there too, of course the result will be once again, spend spend and spend ..

Just only my opinion, assumption and perspective of a businessman or business minded person ..

That's a good reason though. Hope the golden tool essence is still in the rebate with 20 spins because if not, i don't see any point of delaying the event as the 1st prize in wheel of fortune has nothing to do with cave key rebate.
