Arena BP bug or nah?

Idk if this is a text bug, but I checked my opponents BP in arena and it said he was only 6kBP while I'm at like 26kBP and he has more life than me. Or does the BP in arena signify something else like initiative or something?

He's using trial ninjas. If that is ranked arena though, then it's definitely a bug.

Yes, using Trial Ninjas will drop the player BP in Arena.

It's only for Training Mode, however.
