Where almost all top 20 players are in one group. Only 2 of the top 10 are in two different groups and the other 4 (top 17 - 20) are in a different group as well.

I just started playing on this server since my friend invited me and it seems like its only 2 months+ old as what I've been told. I just find it ridiculously unfair whenever there's a GNW and I just think it's boring and takes the "fun" out of the game. There are only like 4 groups who participate in GNW. I know server merge happens but when it will be is the big question.

Should I just bounce in another server?

Bound to another server and become a leader yourself. Be like me. I was the one who created the 1st group then people joined me like crazy. After like 4 days I stopped recruiting members and focus more on kicking inactive. People told me I'm greedy, j3rk for doing that and they think I only doing that because I want packs for myself while they don't realize I'm saving their gaming experience and trying to keep the server balance. I somehow become the bad guy there lol.

I dont think going to a new server would help. My server is a little messed up with the amount of high power people. S59/61/63 has 14 people above 100k and has Kahpow (2nd most powerful). We have 4 groups that can participate in GNW and its usually ANBU Elite (with Kahpow) that goes to X-GNW, but another one sometimes can beat them.

Of the top 25 people in terms of power on our servers, only 2 of them are in neither of those groups that can go to X-GNW. Our group has been asked multiple times to merge with one of the two groups. Honestly, in this game the people with the most power band together because its better for them too

I would like to point out that if you are in one of the lesser groups, you might have a pack every week assuming the group can qualify. Whereas player in the strong group only have one every other week, assuming the leader isn't reserving some for himself and his pals.

"balance" exists. It's just players rarely make optimal choices.

To hell with winning 1st place in your local GNW.
Your goal should be to gather more players, no matter their powers, as long as they complete daily task points in the Daily Practice checklist.
You just have to aim to qualify during each GNW, and try to be within top 3 of the resulting GNW.
Try to merge with the other group who has lesser members than those who are at the top.
This is why you shouldn't kick people early in game, especially if those people are logging in daily.
Open your recruitment settings now, gather more members, ask for a group merge (the group with least members among others).
It will mostly be unfair in terms of the battles but look at the bigger picture: your goal is to be within top 3 so your group won't go home empty-handed.
If the other groups talk *, block those people. * to your goals. Your power lies in your hands in how you manage your resources.
The GNW packs only provide you an opportunity to gain access to more powerful ninja.

Anyway, just speaking by experience. I tend to be cunning at times, and my enemies hate me so much for it.
I turn a hopeless group in the first month into a dominating one up until now (with the help of my dear group mates who stayed and played).
I may be a fool to leave our group with open recruitment, but even spies have given up on life and stopped.
Never lost since then. I thank my leader for listening. To further increase my chances of winning, I had to think abstractly to a point that our enemies just can't tell what our next strat will be. Mind games, in a gruesome way. With such successive wins, we tend to entice newer players to join us.
Helped most of them with TI/SA and more, whenever I can, while banning most of them from seeing our GNW positions.
What do you know? — the once 3rd rate group now leads the server.
Anyway, even if we lost, I'd still keep going. My goal is to qualify in GNW tournaments, better get something even if it's not the best than just giving up and taking nothing.

As long as your server is alive, you can enjoy it :) Not winning gnw is a minor issue compared to the dead servers.

I know how ya feel dude, trust me, my server 1 group has at least 5 heavy spenders in a group plus other group that joined them only for x-gnw, it does *, all i can say is, try to have fun, dont take this game too serious unless ur willing to drop big money, there's no way you will compete with heavy spenders.

based on my experience regarding this situation, some people will quit for 2 reasons mostly ; either they get bored of winning, or their friends quit the game.

my server is like this S91/95/97. Majority of the players in our server are in the strongest group. I think 4 of us in the top 10 are in groups we've stuck by before our servers merged. Keep in mind we're all over 100k in top 10 so 6 people in the same group with that kind of power dominates with ease. I honestly enjoyed GNW a little more before merges because we had our own server rivalry in S97. I don't mind it now though because we still compete fairly well for the *tered BP differences we have. I think if you have fun and enjoy the people in your group that's all that matters. So many people are quick to stack groups but also fail to realize the more people you have the harder the pack rotation. Its really preference. If you qualify on your local server then * it out. If you want to have a chance to compete in X-GNW then you should * with the strongest group in your server. Just have fun honestly.

It's not going to change if you think a new server or even a merged server will make players join different groups so the pvp can be fun and balanced think again. After merge the top 2 teams will recruit 90% of the top bp players among all the merged servers and then you left with what? 4-5 servers at most. the top 2 will always win gnw and will always win sage world, however the top 8 receive rewards in gnw so it's not such a big deal. It will only be extremely boring you can just afk even. The top players do all the fighting at the nodes that ''matter''. The same with matsuri you retreat from 1 and you auto the next and so on (there is almost no real pvp in this game anymore). All you can get out of this game as a mild spender or even f2p is maybe arena and ''hero collector'' type mindset.

that's true on the seal scrolls side but is not true on the convoy/plunder side. For people like him means to always be plundered and to never be able to win a plunder attempt. 22 coupons per day gained vs 85 for the f2p in the other group. It's a pretty big difference.

Well eventually, all groups should merge anyway, as it provides highest efficiency in GNW and X-GNW, and guaranteed victories in both. It would honestly make for a better experience if there were 2 or 4 dominating groups that were all evenly matched, as it is more fun. I was the leader of a group as well, but only for about 5 months we thrived, then it was same 5-6 people on every day, so we ended up merging with the top group, as we had fallen behind.
