Definitely jinchuriki 1 and try to get roshi. Freeze your level at 65 coz more and more whales are freezing their level now, too..
I've seen someone with 50k+ power at level 70 and he just refuses to level up, maybe for "another 6 months" or more.
At level 65, you pretty much dominate sage just by using a root of warrior lightning main, skillbroken kurenai, skillbroken sasuke and iruka.

Build your initiative so your main will always cast mystery off. I've used that lineup for so long and can even defeat people 2-3k power above you.
When you feel confident enough to advance, you can go on and STOP at level 70. Once you get there, just hope you get Fuguki for yet another sage * with him + roshi and water main + kurenai sb.

Back in the day, before things like GNW treasure, an optimal way to go would be through Kage until you get your first rare, then go to a Jinchuriki that works well with said Kage rare. But with the GNW and Land of Lightning treasures twisting up the meta, I'm not 100% sure now.

GNW treasure because the common pulls from GNW treasure are actually rares from edo tensei, jinchuriki 1/2 and land of lightning treasure + some others exclusive ninjas like shikaku nara and edo tensei haku.

True. So the OP should either: try to get roshi and freeze at 65, or unlock GNW treasure and save. Just hope he saves enough seals to complete the hidden mist team which is quite good in sage and arena.

My opinion is to draw ~200 for Roshi, pull 3 Kage rares, and then save for GNW treasures

Considering the current NA competitive meta: important ninja to get that are available in treasures:
Killer Bee (Thug), Jigokudo, Gakido, and Tendo for that nice TI sweep.

Figure out what main you feel best on, that will cut the ninja pool from treasures you are interested in. Then look up the best endgame teams available (and those with premium ninja that will come in the nearest future like edo kages, angel konan etc) and start gearing towards that team. Right now top teams tend to use mostly event ninjas, from pre-gnw treasure ninjas roshi and bee still will be used, maybe skillbroken danzo but thats basically it. Danzo/mifune/darui are used mostly by lightning, which basically autolose to han/masked man. After skillbooks, super rares from kage might have a few minutes of spotlight. If you end up being the strongest (or vs group where u are faster) barrier is fine, otherwise its no point. So generally, drawing kage will help you for a short time in pve mostly before you obtain event ninjas. Personally if I started fresh, Id just go for roshi and rest into gnw treasure, skip other treasures altogether

So are omoi and samui in gnw treasure also or just land of lighting?
