I've been getting bored with my standard teams. (meta teams) Perhaps I need a different perspective.

Sorry to say it, but there are no dream teams, Everything has counters and some teams have very less counters(metas). Some new ninjas have no counters since their counter ninja is yet to be released. So have a good set of teams and use them as per the opponent.

With your ninjas you have good options.

sage naruto, gaara, wind main gakido/killer bee/iruka/kurenai

iruka, wb asuma/mifune, lightning main and danzo

roshi, kurotsuchi wb asuma/sage naruto and wind main

roshi, fuguki, water main sailor

roshi, sage naruto, killer bee, earth main

roshi, sage naruto water main and sailor sakura

water main, iruka/gnw tenten, wb asuma,mei (experimental jutsu, shark bomb chaos team with water main at first position)

pb sasuke, wind main, mei, mabui

Find the summons and talents, not much work for that.

i would do Sailor Sakura - Water Main - Sage Naruto - Roshi in your place with water main, with wind main you can go kazekage gaara sage naruto and gakido, and with fire you can try Mei Iruka Sage naruto Fire main, cool team .
