So I'm playing on a new server, my leader created the group and everyone joined him. After a few weeks he kicked almost everyone except for a few players that followed him to this server, we went from 80 members to around 30 even tho they just didn't online for a few days, I feel like he finding a reason just to kick people on purpose. Also he don't even open for recruit new members. When I asked him why he just said he don't want new players in his group. I feel like this group is dying even tho we won gnw every weekDo you guys know what he is doing? Any reasons behind it or he is a * that like to kick people? Should I stay in a group like this?
Maybe he wants to lead a elite group of ninjas, those who are loyal and active the most. this will lead to no gnw packs being lost cause of casual player or any other reason.
More people in the group means it can be leveled up faster, besides that it isn't necessary to have big numbers as you only need 27 to fill Saturday's battlefields.
I prefer to have a lot of people in my group and give everyone a chance, so I wouldn't. But it's up to you :>
No matter how elite you think your group is, it will eventually die when a few of your so-called "select members" go inactive. You're losing too much potential, early group funds by kicking the ones you consider an "outsider". I've never led a group, but I have a strong say as to the policies we have, heck I even set our weekly GNW victories. All thanks to our rapidly growing group, the many people we helped to power up. We win by numbers, we win by power by a large margin. If you can spare some efforts of actually helping a lot of your members altogether, you'll enjoy the victories it'll give you. NOT all days are your "select members" ever going active, some days they won't be on for GNW. You lose some days when people start crossing the 35-40k power marks. Someone in our server called himself "elite", limited his number of members, and every GNW, this elite player get stomped. So much for self proclamations.
If your group doesn't mind losing some GNW, then by all means, go be an "elite" group. If your main players start quitting, you'll only have yourselves to blame; while the groups you defeat now will grow in numbers and power.
Edit: Our group has "open" recruitment setting. If your leader/senior/battle commander are wise enough, you would have zero problems with spies even with a 90+ members. We've been winning our GNW for months now.
He is doing it so he get's more gnw packs, 10 people do GNW = everyone get's a pack and easier plunder too i guess. As for should you stay in it, that's up to you and what type of group you want. I wouldn't, i like being in group with 100 active people, plus he is only motivated by greed and he makes your chances of going to cross server to meet other servers top groups low by having low power.
Join another group and beat his behind xd
Jib Edit: Behind sounds better =p No swearing please.
Thank guys for responded, I just asked him again and indeed his main reason for not recruit new members is because it will be harder to plunder. About GNW packs, I think he created a pretty balanced and fair system. His system is ba
P/s : I don't think I can join another group and beat his behind, all pay players are with him and he is really strong by himself :P

He's an elite of the game, either u join him or you will go inactive in the near future.
Most normally id only purge if they were gone for 4 days with out a reason. Your leader may just be purging daily inactives instead of waiting out since there is such things called offline life and there could be emergencies that pulled the people away. If I were you id ask your leader exactly why the group went from 80 to as low as it is now.
Also if he is doing it for GNW packs he is being selfish and kicking out that many members will decrease your guy's donation amount alot.

actually my group goes against a player who im sure drops 300+ a week, since the start of the server we have never won a GNW which is fine. as long as the top groups * together the server will do good. Being with the most elite isnt always the best, ive learned that in many servers having a group that you can say " im glad Im in this group because of ___________." its the greatest feeling when you find them sometimes you just have to follow your gut in either going to a old server or new.
lets see, many points have been said already, but here is my view on this.
Pros: With just around 30 members there are less people to give out GNW packs compared to having 80 members. You also get the chance to plunder more people since they are not in your group anymore.
Cons: With less members it takes more time to build up the group fund. Also the with less members u get lower group activity rate, or is that calculated by something else? With less members you wont be able to fill up all the fields and if one or more of the "elite" members go inactive its harder. Also by kicking so many members you lose lots of potentials.

Having that many ACTIVE players in a group in a pretty new server (up to 2 months, during which first major batch of ppl quits) isn't really a great idea. It's better for servers health if these players are spread among 2-3 groups so they can get packs and improve their characters before merge. Real benefit of a mass group that early on is higher group lvl when merge happens. But when it's ur server alone, pack/ninja starvation does more harm than big group does good. Keep in mind if you hoard all the good players from the beginning, you kill the server's health yourself- for you no competition means no fun, for the receiving side always losing causes frustration. If new servers are also allowed to participate in cross gnw, larger group would make more sense, but still thats a pack every 3 weeks (30players) instead of every week (10).
