Click "ninja tab" on top right "transform".

it will work 24 hrs though then you have to transform again

Click on your profile icon on top of the screen, on profile page go to "change account" you can do it there, asuming you're talking about forum avatar.

If you're talking about in game, what they said for transformation (only visual effect), you can't change main completely yet tho.

Ohhh. Yeah, took me a while. Go to the User Center (click username, go to "Go Now" for completing account info) and hit "Upload Avatar". And I don't think it's a silly question! They hid it well!
