I have been using the water "cancer" team and although it gets me some wins from higher pwr ppl, it still has many flaws.

1. Initiative is honestly the most important stat in the game and if you win in init you most likely win the match by having your passive barrier up over theirs or interrupting mysteries that they use. If you don't have more, well tough luck becuz even if they didn't run this lineup they can prob still beat you.

2. Fire main itself is an amazing counter to this lineup. If you are using the immobile mystery, u can just prevent mabui from doing anything round 1 or round 2 (ur choice, u can immobile after mabui uses standard). Fire main also has genjutsu mirror and most tenten mabui lineups use the clone and the first debuff usually started from their combos is the immobile from mei and getting that reflected really hurts the team. Since kurenai and kakashi beheading sword also has these and are easy to get, they are pretty good counter too.

3. Since this team doesn't have an acu/interrupt round one, you can take the barrier which is a lot of the dmg. However, this won't guarantee you the win becuz the team itself still does a lot of dmg if you can't prevent one or more ninjas from using mysteries.

4. Chakra stealers are useful such as kisame and can prevent units like mei to go off second round.

5. Units that remove buffs and shield can be very useful in reducing the dmg and tankiness of this team. Han is very strong for example.
