Cross-Sever anything not working since 4.0 update

Hey, I have an odd problem with my naruto online game and i was wondering if somebody has the solution to this

ever since 4.0 update, i haven't been able to do most cross-server stuff; aka decisive bonds, arena, space time, and matsuri are all blocked to me; when i try to get in, it completely freezes at the loading screen or doesn't even acknowledge that i 'started' a battle

in addition, i can't even switch servers to another one on my account (my main server is s489; if i try to get into, say, s278, the game freezes at 14% loading screen)

but i can still do Sage World battlefields (cross-server version)

On top of that, the cross server stuff that i can't do, i can do on other wifi networks (e.g. at university libraries), its just that when i'm at home it doesn't work. Also, other people have been able to log into my account and do all the cross-server stuff (which is how i've been doing events since 4.0 update)

I thought at first it was b/c of my wifi blocking certain ports so i can't play games, but if that's the case i shouldn't be able to log into my naruto online game at all (which i can, and i c*so log into other players' games as long as the server is the same as mine)

and this happened RIGHT after 4.0 update; before that i was just fine

(p.s. i'm on a mac so not using miniclient, just browser)
