Like you said lucky * is RNG so don't try if you rely heavily on coupons to use in events. Just slowly collect frags over time and build your coupons, you'll eventually get him.

So unsure how lucky or unlucky I was, but 500 lucky * gave 15 deidara frags, so lets say you get 50 from balloons (which you obviously can't), you'd need 330 lucky *es, totalling for 16.5k. I'd just pick up the fragments you can, don't start hoping for lucky * RNG.

U got 15 deidara frags from 500-25k lucky *??? Cause I got 15 from 6k on lucky *...and I have 12k ingots so dont know what to do like I said I have 21 deidara frags and 870 points in balloons which are 5 frags of him. But yeah rng is soo messed and not gonna name players but come on from 2k he got masked man 2 times...and plus a contraxting scroll...

Honestly lucky * is sort of a whale event like konoha tree used to be. You get best output if you go to maximum reward checkpoint and i guess that's 50 frags of naruto nine tails.

Dont think those two events are comparable in that way. Also to advice the OP, don't do lucky *. Terrible values. Edo deidara is in like every week, so get him in better events where even during your spins if you miss his frags, you still get your coupons/ingots worth, like the consumption wheel.

They are comparable since both of them needs us to go to highest reward checkpoiints(level 7 in konoha tree and 500 draws in lucky *) to make the most of these events. Combining with the spending event of that time the value increases. If you see konoha tree always come together with the points event( the one where you get 1 point for spending 10 ingots or from plot/elite instances) and the redeem rewards will have some common ninja. Similar case with this week where lucky * is coming along with colourful balloon events, and guess what both have deidara also. Basic idea of event is to get 50 nine tail naruto and as much deidara frags from both events combined and with chances of edo asuma and masked man.Lucky * is an event focused on getting ninja frags and not much of powering up options involved here. If you are focusing on powering up you could very well go to lucky board, . From small amount of draws what i felt was you get low value for what you put compared to lucky board which is 10 times better.

However, they are intrinsically different. It's like one is on a linear graph and the other is on an exponential increasing curved graph.

Lucky * gives you a fixed reward at each breakpoint which you mentioned. But it does not give you more value for spending more, you still get the same RNG rate and no change to the rewards.

On the other hand, great konoha tree rewards improve as the breakpoints get higher, not only do you get more in terms of quantity of coins but also more quality ninja fragments as well.
