have you tried earth main, kurenai skillbroken, samui, ay 3rd ?

earth main skills: 3-3-2-4-3 with summon: dog of hell/purple dog or kirin/purple deer

If you face mabui-tenten mei water team, you can interrupt tenten with your samui and most of their atks will be targeted to ay 3rd so no combo on that first round nor any big damage, your ay would be at most accupenctured and nothing else, use kurenai's mystery to clean him on turn one so he can be ready to use his skill at start of turn 2 and finish either water main or mabui.

Also with kurenai's chakra passive and that of samui you c*e earth main's mystery to generate even more chakra, clean debuffs and deal more damage in that first turn which will more then likely end up with an immobilised/chaosed enemy and with kurenai's mirror you can reflect those water clone/mei accupencture back on them

Same goes for other lineups... you got your enemy masked man immobilizing ay ? kurenai mirror return, did it return back from their own mirror (fire main for example) ? use kurenai's mystery to remove it, did it land on kurenai ? use earth mains mystery to remove it give more atk generate more chakra and use kurenai mystery if you still get cc later in that first round.
