In case you didn't notice, masked man is going to reduce your future roshi's damage with his passive (affect both sides), i suppose you tried omoi - samui - ay 3rd with lightning/earth main and it didn't work ? mind explaining a lil bit how was your experience with that lineup ?

that lineup is good omoi, samui and ay, but against water meta it will just get rekt (masked, roshi, sailor or mabui, 1010 and mei) yeah u dead in round 2-3 by tenten and mei.. or if u face any masked man/han ur shields from cloud ninjas is obsolete.... that lineup is good if u can kill 2 ninjas by round 1 which is possible if u dont get controlled before or their healers keep them alive.

ive tried it in arena with Ay third but he is dead in about 2 rounds or either controlled long enough to the point that he is useless in the entire battle. I tried it with kushina and it kinda work since she is immune and keep throwing clones every rounds.

have you tried earth main, kurenai skillbroken, samui, ay 3rd ?

If you face mabui-tenten mei water team, you can interrupt tenten with your samui and most of their atks will be targeted to ay 3rd so no combo on that first round nor any big damage, your ay would be at most accupenctured and nothing else, use kurenai's mystery to clean him on turn one so he can be ready to use his skill at start of turn 2 and finish either water main or mabui.

Also with kurenai's chakra passive and that of samui you c*e earth main's mystery to generate even more chakra, clean debuffs and deal more damage in that first turn which will more then likely end up with an immobilised/chaosed enemy and with kurenai's mirror you can reflect those water clone/mei accupencture back on them

Same goes for other lineups... you got your enemy masked man immobilizing ay ? kurenai mirror return, did it return back from their own mirror (fire main for example) ? use kurenai's mystery to remove it, did it land on kurenai ? use earth mains mystery to remove it give more atk generate more chakra and use kurenai mystery if you still get cc later in that first round.

Is it better going for Han or Roshi? I havent open any of the treasure and I want to know which path i should take for the furure updates who will be more useful and viable Roshi or Han? using water main/masked man.

I've heard Roshi will be in the metagame for a veryyy long time. And Han just looks cool with buff clearance on both sides...so....

If Han only affected the enemy side, he'd be a lot more viable, but sadly it's both.

Masked man's passive would only hurt Roshi at the very start of the round since he essentially gains the 12% he's missing and more over the course of the fight. He's the only jinchurikki that can be ran in the same team without any repercussions of losing overall damage. Its actually a high functioning team because the control masked man provides will always be worth a 12% trade-off. Control dominates matchups, especially when the opponent cant clear it.

Roshi is perma end game. He'll also be worth the amount of scrolls you drop for him. He scales, has immunity, and dishes out good damage if you can keep him alive long enough. If you can manage to trigger his chase, he's that much more dangerous.

Han is extremely situational. I mean EXTREMELY. Initially Han was the prize to go for because of the blitz meta. Now that its fading he's dropped in value. Many teams now don't rely heavily on buffs either but rather pure personal BP. Is he bad? Not necessarily but he isn't the best. I picked up Han but I only use him for ranked. Like Resilience stated, he would be more viable if he only debuffed the enemy side, this would also make him broken af lol.

All in all, Roshi is who you want to go for. You c*ways ac*ulate free draws and eventually get Han over the course of time. I personally don't think he's worth the scrolls atm.
