Itachi couldn't do anything. He gritted his teeth, tears falling out of his eyes. From the corner of his eye, Danzo saw he proud Uchiha fall to his knees and look down in great horror. Danzo would never admit it, but he held Itachi with respect. Putting the village's safety over your clan? How could he not respect that.he Uchiha

The old war-hawk looked in front and spoke. "You're a fine and loyal shinobi of Konoha, Itachi. For that, I am allowing you to spare another besides your borther."

The tasked killer's eyes widened in shock. He, can spare another? Itachi looked down before he schooled his features. Wiping off his tears, he stood up with conviction. He knew who the second person heneeded to be spared. Tightly clenching his fist, he shunshinned his way back to his home, intent on doing his objective.

The Uchiha Clan Compound

Cries of panic and death littered around the district, as blades pierced their hearts. The blades were pulled back, revealing the wielders to be clones of Itachi. The original stoically watched as the clones dispatched his fellow clansmen. Itachi turned around and ran towards another district.

Dozens of children whimpered, all of them of hiding inside of a huge closet. They all converged in said hiding place, waiting for their parents to pick them up. Light shoned upon the children's eyes, door opened. But their eyes widened, Itachi standing there covered in blood. The child of Fugaku grabbed one of the children by the leg and dragged him out, his tanto raised in the air.

The other children were scared and screamed for him to stop. But, itachi wasn't THAT of a heartless killer to mercilessly slaughter young children. His tomoes spun until it converged and formed his Mangekyo Sharingan. The fear inside the children's eyes were replaced with curiosity as they saw the Mangekyo. Itachi's Mangekyo spun, and trapped the children in a highly advanced Genjutsu.

Said Gejnutsu made them live out their lives happily, up until their death. The Genjutsu was too much for the children, as they all fell down with a thud, dead. Itachi turned back and went to continue. Unknown to him, all of the children died smiling.

Dozens of Uchiha ran towards a district where Itachi was last spotted. "Come on! We need to stop the traitor!"

But out of nowhere, a portal appeared out of thin air and engulfed them all, transporting them to some dimension. The Uchihas looked around the unfamiliar surroundings, until a voice spoke, booming.

"Sorry, but this is your death place."

The Uchihas looked up, and saw large pillars erupting above. They could do nothing but scream as the pillars slam against their bodies, squishing them into nothing but bloody pastes. A masked man dropped down to the site and raised the pillars, revealing that they were all stabbed, instead of squished. The masked man smiled from beneath his cover and went to pluck out their eyes.

Back to the compound, itachi had mercilessly slaughtered 99% of the clan. Now only a few stragglers were left. His mother and father. Itachi walked up to the main building, where his family resides. He went in, and saw his parents kneeling, their back turned to him.

"So, it's come to this?"

Itachi let tears fall down. "Tou-san, kaa-chan."

Fugaku raised his hand, interrupting Itachi. "No. You don't need to say anything else Itachi. Your mother and I have already accepted our fates. Go on, just know that the both of us are very proud of you."

The Uchiha Prodigy charged at his parents and impaled their hearts, quickly killing them, and avoiding their suffering. He pulled back his tanto, now covered in blood. He looked down and preapred to leave, having finished his task. Now he-

"Itachi-kun!"

Itachi froze and saw Sasuke run in with his lover, Izumi. Sasuke's eyes widened, seeing his parents dead on the floor, lying down in their own pool of blood. Itachi allowed another to fall down his cheek. He charged at the two, tanto raised in the air. Izumi activated her Sharingan and parried the attack. She gritted her teeth and raised her kunai to stab Itachi, but he grabbed her by the wrist.

Itachi twisted her wrist, forcing her to drop the kunai. The prodigy grasped Izumi by the chin, forcing her to look at him in the eyes. Itachi flared his Sharingan, and Izumi slumped forward, and fell with a thud, twitching.

Sasuke took a step back in fear, before he was backed up on to a wall. Itachi sheathed his tanto and grabbed his little brother by the neck looked at Sasuke's eyes full of fear, shock and disbelief.

"Tsukuyomi!"

Three seconds later, Itachi dropped Sasuke down very gently and allowed the streams of tears to flow out. The clan killer knelt besides Izumi and placed a chaste kiss on her forehead. Itachi heard the shouting of many, presumably ANBU, and dispersed in a cloud opf smoke.

Multiple ANBU flocked into the room, surveying the area. A dog-masked ANBU with white haired was checking over Sasuke and felt a pulse on him. "We have survivor! Take him to the hospital for treatment!"

Two of the ANBU nodded and whisked Sasuke away. A purple-haired, cat-masked ANBU was feeling over Izum's body, be sher heard her whisper,

"I-Itachi-kun"

"We have another survivor!"

Two more ANBU carried Izumi and shunsinned towards the hospital to treat Izumi.

On top of a tall building, Itachi looked down at the carnage he had wrought. Looking back, he jumped off and ran for the border, heading towards his new destiny.

"I'm sorry Sasuke, Izumi-chan. Next time, I will explain everything to you."
